Pricing

A monthly retainer, not a one-off invoice — plus a one-off build fee only where a build is unusually complex. Nothing is ever charged that wasn’t agreed in writing first.

How a figure gets agreed

No number is quoted until we understand what you need.

01

Systems Analysis

A free call. We map how your business works today and what can be automated.

02

Written Scope

Exactly what gets built, the retainer, and any build fee — in writing, before you commit.

03

Build

We build to the agreed scope. The price doesn’t move unless you ask for something outside it.

04

Live & Maintained

The retainer starts when your system goes live, and keeps it running from there.

Common questions

The things people ask on the call, answered before it.

What does the retainer cover?

Keeping what we built working — and improving it — is included. Building something new is its own piece of work, so it’s quoted on its own.

Included

  • Hosting and uptime monitoring
  • Maintenance and bug fixes
  • Copy and layout changes
  • Design and frontend adjustments
  • Ongoing performance improvements

Quoted separately

  • An entirely new system
  • New functionality inside an existing system
  • A major rebuild or redesign
When does the retainer start?

When your system goes live, not when work begins. You’re not paying a monthly fee for something you can’t use yet.

Will most projects carry a build fee?

Many won’t. It applies to unusually complex builds, and you’d know about it at the written scope stage, well before anything is built.

Could I be charged something I haven’t agreed to?

No. The retainer and any build fee are set out in writing before work starts, and anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it’s built.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Three months, then it rolls monthly. The first three months cover the build and the period where we’re still tuning it around how you actually work. After that you’re never locked in — if we’re not earning it, you can leave with a month’s notice.

How do I cancel, and what happens to my systems?

One month’s written notice, any time after the first three months. You always leave with a full export of your data in a standard format — that’s yours, unconditionally. Because we host and maintain what we build, the systems themselves stop running at the end of your final month. If you’d rather take them with you, we’ll quote a handover.

Do I own what you build?

Yes — your data, your configuration, and the parts built specifically for your business are yours. What stays ours is the underlying toolkit we bring to every project: the components, patterns and infrastructure that exist before we meet you. It’s the difference between a builder owning their tools and owning your house.

How long until it’s live?

It depends on scope: a single dashboard or automation is usually two to three weeks, a connected multi-system build four to eight, and a mobile app longer because of store review. You get a specific date in the written scope before you commit to anything, and we take on a limited number of builds at a time so the date means something.

Get it scoped in writing.

What you pay depends on what you need built. Book a call and we’ll scope it properly, then put the retainer and any build fee in writing before a line of work begins.
